Full Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Arrive in Noi Bai Airport, where you will be greeted by our guide, then transferred to your downtown hotel. Welcome dinner will follow at a typical Vietnamese restaurant with folk show. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: Hanoi City Explore (B/L/-)
A full day Hanoi city tour will cover the main boulevards of Hanoi, Temple of Literature. Visit to the prestigious Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the famous One Pillar Pagoda. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a one hour Cyclo ride around the Old Quarter. Enjoy an incredible Water puppet performance. Dinner by your own and overnight in hotel.

DAY 3: Hanoi Craft Village (B/L/-)
Morning visit Dong Ky a woodcarving and puppet making village about 40km (25 miles) from Hanoi. After lunch, visit Dong Ho village famous for its unique paintings. You can watch the woodcut pattern making process and try and make a painting for yourself. After day trip to handicraft village. Have dinner by your own and overnight in Ha Noi.

DAY 4: Bat Trang - Van Phuc - Duyen Thai villages (B/L/-)
Morning visit the Bat Trang pottery village to witness the complete process of making different kinds of pottery and ceramic items. Enjoy lunch in Hanoi. Afternoon you will go to visit Duyen Thai village, a lacquer ware-painting village in Ha Tay area just 20km (12 miles) from Hanoi. On the way back to Hanoi, visit Van Phuc silk village. Dinner by your own and overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight on cruise (B/L/D)
Head out of Hanoi to the World Heritage listed Halong Bay. we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay city. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3, 000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on Cruise.

DAY 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L/-)
Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 04: 00 pm. Free at leisure.. Dinner by your own and overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 7: Hanoi - Hue (B/L/-)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Imperial city of Hue. You will be met at the Phu Bai airport then transferred downtown to your hotel. Visit the Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market. Take lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon a continuation to visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh tombs. After dinner, enjoy Ca Hue (performance of traditional music on the boat) on the Perfume River.

DAY 8: Hue - Kim Long Village (B/L)/-
This morning take a boat ride on the Perfume River and visit some of the more interesting sites of Hue, like Thien Mu Pagoda. Stop to visit traditional villages that make the conical hats ('Non La') synonymous with Vietnam and silk ('Tranh Lua') embroidered paintings (they embroider the picture on silk or cloth). Meet with famous artists in these fields. Dinner and overnight in Hue.

DAY 9: Hue - Hoi An - Marble village (B/L/-)
Transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An via the breathtaking & have lunch en route stop at Marble caving village. Upon arrive, check in hotel and have lunch at local restaurant, Afternoon enjoy walking tour of the old streets of Hoi An where the mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an important trading port. Dinner and overnight in Hoi An.

DAY 10: Hoi An - Saigon (B/L/D)
Transfer to Da Nang airport after breakfast for the early flight to Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City as it is now officially known. Transfer to hotel on arrival. After a lunch of "pho" on Pasteur Street, a half day city tour includes the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office and Cho Lon, the city's lively Chinatown. Dinner is at one of Saigon's best-known restaurants, Vietnam House. The cuisine of the south uses many herbs and spices and has been influenced by Cambodia, Thailand and India among others. Curries using coconut milk are an example of this influence. The south also has a wide selection of tropical fruits and vegetables that are not readily available in the cooler north.

DAY 11: Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Today is a full day trip to the watery world of My Tho in the Mekong Delta, just a couple of hours by road from the hustle and bustle of Saigon. Take a boat trip along the narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation and try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards. Try the local specialty of Elephant's Ear Fish at a riverside restaurant. A fascinating glimpse into the daily life of the people who work, rest and play on the mighty Mekong delta and its numerous tributaries. Finally to local restaurant back in Saigon, where we can enjoy the chef's cooking demonstration in the restaurant's airy, open-plan kitchen. Dinner at this beautifully restored colonial villa is the last supper of our culinary tour through Vietnam.

DAY 12: Saigon Departure (B)
The morning is free until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure flight.
