Details of Tour's Program
7:30 am: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city then transfer to Cu Chi tunnels - the city underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. Cu Chi tunnel system was an excellent way for the Viet Cong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years. Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Have lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch, return to Ho Chi minh city, visit War Remnants Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war). Continue visit the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the Saigon Central Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station). City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture. And the last to visit Ben Thanh market before going back your hotel to finish this day trip at your hotel.
